Hi All
Just back from a glorious week in Suffolk, sun shone every day! We stayed in a lovely CS, a smallholding with chickens and a fierce goose and really friendly, nice owners. I am just about to eat my new laid eggs that I bought from them yesterday and I wonder if they will taste of the veg etc that we fed them on during our stay!!
We used our stick on TV aerial and it was really successful 'picture wise' on this site, but not on one a mile down the road! The stickers worked very well though and did not fall off.
We visited Sizewell beach and were amazed at how lovely it was, we expected it to be a bit bleak and devoid of people but it was really a nice place and great for walking. The huge building was impressive to say the least.
10/10 for Suffolk and we are just waiting for the next free few days so we can be off somewhere new again.
Will submit a review of the two sites we used soon.

Sounds great Viv, you certainly picked a good week weather wise. I just hope you haven't used up this years quota of sunshine we want some left for your holiday. ;D

HI viv, sounds like you had a great time!!!
Off myself this Saturday. Glad to know I'm not carrying around that clunking great aerial for nothing!
Just a question, did you move the aerial to a different spot when you moved sites? (to the one a mile down the road). And where are you sticking it on?
You will need to move the aerial to a different place for practically every different site, y'know.
At Wolverley (didn't have the new aerial then, though) I had two channels at the front end of the van and another two different channels at the back!

We stuck the aerial on at front/ side of luton above the door as near to top as possible, with the aerial facing front. We tried it both sides at first site and in different directions but looked at others' to see best way. Second site it just worked straight away. I did wash the 'stick on' area with a damp jeye cloth to clean the side of van to help sticking.
Have a nice time away jayjay, I am happy with just one channel, just in case it rains and rains otherwise we are outside in the fresh air!

You can usually get one channel at least, can't you - mind you I find I can get at least one of the analogue channels with just the little indoor aerial. I just like to know what the weather will bring really. Nice to catch up with the news too, although its usually depressing, so maybe I'll give that a miss! LOL! I have my aerial shoved at the side of the luton (semi collapsed) and tied onto the rail with curtain wire. I let a bit of the aerial wire out so that I could just attach the TV from where its stored - lazy or what? It works quite well like that, esp for just overnight stays when you can't be bothered to get the whole kit and caboodle out just for a few hours! Sort of an outdoor aerial, inside! LOL! ;D
