Hi Pachapapa, welcome to the forum. I have a 1990 C15 Romahome...I am off on an adventure to France next week and will be in your area in August, so will give you a wave ;D Jean BTW Is yours L/H drive? I've just read your post to Ant. I had a similar problem with the tyre walls cracking even though the tread was legal. I have had Nan kang 155 R13 fitted. They are 8 ply and I forget the 'payload' but they will carry in excess of the 495Kg that Ant recommended. Apparently Nan Kang are good tyres and they were £130 fitted, including balancing & tracking. Hope this is of help to you

Hello Pachapapa
Welcome to the forum, so glad you found us, you're lucky to live in France, we only get two weeks a year but love to visit.
I bet you get some funny looks with your C15 they don't have anything like them over there.

Hi Jean, sounds like you will be spending the whole summer in France, there is a lot to see. FiFi is right hand drive but with a french number plate, a number 79 at the end, the last numbers on a french plate indicate the department but there are plans afoot to change that to the Region. The peasants are not happy a lot of opposition. I also have a VW Golf 1983, she is called Brunhilda, she has left hand drive. The french go on holiday in July and August and all of a sudden there are nasty cars with 75 on them all over the place. Events and Festivals are put on all over for the tourists and most is free or heavily subsidised. I live in a little village near Parthenay in July a Games Festival and Fireworks on the 14th July. In June on the mid summer weekend is the Festival of Music with lots of concerts and gigs, traditionally the night for the first barbecue of the year which starts the annual period of gallic hedonism. I love it.
