Hi,
has anyone used the inner tent with their movelite awning?? Our awning has only been up once and we didn't bother with the inner but looking at it, the size and shape, the inner seems to completely fill the inside of the awning?? is there still room to open the van doors etc ( I asume there is, a massive design flaw otherwise!!) is there any space left around the inner to store thinkgs like bikes etc?
many thanks

Glen I haven't used ours yet but I think it clips on to the outer and basically just hangs inside - is that right? I suppose I'd assumed that you would unclip it in the daytime and only have it in place at night so that the full awning would be available for daytime use. As regards opening the doors, that's not a problem with the sliding side door on the Dimension although that has it's own problems. The first time I opened the sliding door from the inside with the awning in place, the top corner of the door caught the top of the awning tunnel (which links the awning proper to the van) and put a little rip in it. Great thing to happen on the awning's maiden voyage. Presumably, if you have the inner in place, there is still room to store items in the tunnel? Doug

we have used the bedroom compartment in our Movelite awning. It takes up about half the floor space. (When you put the groundsheet down match the clour codes with the awning. You will the be able to peg the bedroom down through the large eyelets

Hi Kriss. Several people at the Wolverly meet have the movlite awning. It does fit quite easily onto the Roma. We have one and JayJay & glenw I think. We have found ours easy and so usefull. We got our's from ebay but glenw got his very cheap and will be able to tell you where from. Pendel

hi Kriss, as Pendel says, we have the movelite and are more than happy with it but we have a demountable rather than the c15. we did get a bargain, it was from the towsure clearance section. It is the old model, an updated version was released this year so you may fall lucky and get a clearance one from somewhere but i'm afraid towsure don't have any :-(
we are stopping on a site at sherwood forest later in the month, your welcome to have a drive out and meet us and see how the awning fits if you like?? It is a driveaway awning so we would be able to move our van and reverse yours up to it. If your into either crowded house or the zutons, get tickets for their concerts in sherwood forest and join us for the whole weekend if you like!!! That invite goes out to everyone else too!!

we are selling our easy camp one on ebay at the mo, its not a comfy fit, and the dog keeps tangeling up getting out of the back of it..
Thank you for the invite I will let you know on that one.
We are away next week, dont know where yet, i think we are going to look at the weather and see where the better weather is first. I was looking at perhaps norfolk or the lake district !!! Will post pics

My Movelite has been on duty as a summerhouse/gazeebo in the garden for a couple of weeks. Last night we had torrential rain and gale force winds. I was little apprehensive when I came out to check this morning but it came through with flying colours - no damage, no loose bits flapping about and dry inside.
Well done, Movelite........

You are still more than welcome to join us over the weekend, same go to everyone else.

Hi everyone!
Did i read right the movelite awning fits the demountable roma home? I have the orginal canvass orange and bright blue canvas drive away awning circa 1988. Does what it says on the box! But would like a newer one to go with my newer pick up! How big are they? Saw a retro one like mine for sale for 300 pounds! so may keep it towards my pension fund! Any info would be great!
Regard and bestwishes for the new year!

hi lunnie (joan) How big is the awning you have? I may need a xl ! my original one is about 12 x 10! was big enough but we have dogs!I could do with larger wind break too thats a retro one too! To stop kids running thro past the dogs! It does worry me when small children think all the camp is theirs! Has if any thing happened it would my dogs being put down at the vets not the unruly child that decided to enter our camp! regards sunshine1 Ellie xmas wishes! x

www.outdoor-revolution.com/Movelite.htmThese are the measurement of the Movelite. Mine is not the 2008 model so does not have the flymesh on the side door. no fittings required to fit, you just place it over the back of the van, and pull the sleeve around the side of the van and peg down. Joan

Here's a pic of mine attached - at Ullapool. Like Joan says, get some better tent pegs.... Took us ages to put up here as it looks like grass, but that only goes down about two inches, then it's like hard core below that! I bought some of the delta pegs on Joan's advice as going up the the windy Hebredes, well worth the money seem to go anywhere, stick into anything and hold the tent down no matter what gale force you're in!
