Hello Ant. We are thinking of changing our base vehicle as our Julius (J reg c15) is showing slight rust marks through the paintwork. Also it would be nice to have power steering. What base vehicle would you recommend and do you do the work yourself or can you recommend anyone who does. Thank you.

Hi Pendal.
Sadly I can't recommend you swap your base vehicle, it's not something Romahome as the manufacturers are happy about. There are some companies and individuals that have done it and continue to do it but Romahome will not recognise them as Romahomes as the integral strength of the clone is an unknown quantity. In order to remove the body parts of the original needs to be cut away.
My advice would be to spend on what you've got or change the whole vehicle.
