Hi Ant, I recently had a problem with this which cured itself in about an hour, but in anticipation that it might happen again could you please advise on what might be the problem Although the door had been unlocked with the remote, the outside handle would not operate and felt completely solid. The door opened normally with the handle inside. I got as far as starting to remove the inside door trim to investigate but this seemed difficult so I left it while I thought about it. In that time it decided to operate normally again

Hi John. Problems very rarely cure themselves! I would think the stiff handle was caused by the way the door had been shut, sometimes if the door catch is nearly but not quite fully engaged the mechanism is left either very tight or very floppy. Next time it happens open and re-shut the door. Ant
