Hi Ant, Could do with a bit of your expert advice here My grill fell apart on my last trip. The whole thing fell down while cooking (luckily my stuff was just cooked). Checked it out and it seemed that some one (previous owner I think) had held it together with fuse wire or something similar which had eventually burnt away. Now I have to re fix the mesh part of the grill and what appears to be the gas line/supply (the long silver part) to the underside of the top of the cooker. Have tried this by struggling in the tiny space under the grill but no joy. Do I need a professional to do this or is there a way I can do this myself? Tried taking the cooker apart but lost confidence as I didn't want to lose the whole cooker by doing something wrong ;D My van - Rhonda - is a 1995 C15 Hi Top. Thanks, Sooz.

Hi sooz. I'm affraid you'll need to spot weld the grill mess back on, this can really only be done by removing the grill hood and mesh from the grill jet tube, you can easily do this by releasing the spring clip that holds the hood to the jet tube, the other end lifts off. Once out you'll need to take to someone who can weld very thin metal! Thanks Ant

Hi Ant, Sorry, my original reply to you seems to have got lost somewhere I thought the grill problem might not be so easy to fix. I have a friend of a friend who works for a caravan and motorhome dealer who is willing to to a full habitation check for me as a homer. I'll ask if they can fix the grill. Here's hoping Otherwise its into the garage as welding is beyond my skills. Thanks for sparing me the time trying to do a makeshift repair myself. I really think I need to plan a trip to the west country................................... Bristol maybe ;D Thanks again, Sooz.
