We're just back from our first trip in our Bedford Rascal, to Glastonbury. We found that we could do with some storage for small bits and bobs, so I'm looking for something like parts bins, to hook on to the pelmets. Any suggestions, please?

have you tried the bold capsules plastic tub, they fit in it ok, as they taper at the bottom.
and a shoe storage that hangs over the door, could possibly hang it over the luton - i have not got one but just thought about it.

I made a curtain which contains pockets for storage over the luton area, and it is fixed there by an extending pole, held with U shaped cups which are screwed into the body, I also use velco both on the pole and the holders this stops the pole jumping out whilst travelling, especially over sleeping policemen!.
I use the cups hooks for the pelments they can be brought from most £1 shops and caravan places, they are made of wire, and hook over and have about 5 hooks, you can use for coats, cups, kettle, carry holding bread, spread a tea-towel across to dry, anything in fact, multi use, I have 3 but dont need to use them all the time, just on 2 weeks holiday to hang kitchen tools etc, saves lifting up the cushions.
Buy everything in Micro size, my pelments hold lots of items, including 1st aid, games, books, medicine, tv and radio plus folded underwear, hankies etc.
I am sure by now you will have got the idea.
Also to save taking bed pillows, if you have 2 soft cushions for day use, place both in a pillowcase for night use.

What is bold? The washing powder? I thought of parts bins, but I guess tupoperware and bulldogs might do. have you tried the bold capsules plastic tub, they fit in it ok, as they taper at the bottom. and a shoe storage that hangs over the door, could possibly hang it over the luton - i have not got one but just thought about it.

Hi Joan. thanks for the cup hook tip, I like the curtain concept too :-) Now I'm off to the poundstrecher shop for hooks and containers ... I made a curtain which contains pockets for storage over the luton area, and it is fixed there by an extending pole, held with U shaped cups which are screwed into the body, I also use velco both on the pole and the holders this stops the pole jumping out whilst travelling, especially over sleeping policemen!.
