Has anyone fitted Air ride suspension to their Berlingo 2.0? We have just returned from holiday where we seemed to be always catching the rear end on various awkward entrances etc. We also managed to dislodge the engine plastic protection plate when reversing onto a pitch with a rather steep entry. After this we looked at a lot of Berlingos and found that a lot of them had their protection plates hanging from the front fixing bolts and quite a lot of them had the plate removed. Whilst on a site in the south of France we met a French couple who had an Autostar Mascot which is a Romahome C15 lookalike. Has anyone seen any of these? The couple said they had only seen a few. Is it a Romahome copy?

Hi Jim. The Autostar Mascot is a Romahome. In the late 80's early 90's Romahome sold a few C15's to Autostar with a view to breaking into the European market, it didn't take off and the supply line dried up. As for air susspension, M A D made a Berlingo air bag kit that is DIY friendly. ( M A D make the blue springs that are fitted to your Berlingo now). Ant
