Here is a small puzzle to keep your mind active while lounging on the beach/lawn. I realize that it is fairly old so some of you might have heard it before.
Three men went into a restaurant and ordered a meal.
The waiter brings the bill at the end of the meal,
he tells them that it comes to £30
So they each pay the waiter £10.
When the waiter takes the money back to the owner of
the restaurant, he tells the waiter that he should only
have charged them £25, and gives him £5 to take back to the men.
On the way back the waiter realizes that it will be difficult for
the three men to split the £5 three ways, so he keeps £2
and gives them £3
If each man gets £1 back that means that they only paid £9 each
a total of £27. The waiter kept £2. That makes £29.
What happened to the other £1.
