On site - Forest of Dean

Hi folks

Just thought we would pop in and say hello we are on site at the Forest of Dean camping site at Christchurch, where we have managed to get a wifi service for £5 for 24 hours, so we are catching up with emails etc.

We spent 3 nights at Rhandirmwyn in Wales, lovely site with lots of walks and a nice real ale pub that does meals just a short walk up a steep hill but hey its down hill on the way back. Red kites were frequently seen over the campsite.

We then moved here to Forest of Dean had a walk to Symonds Yat to see the lovely views and Peregrin Falcons, the weather has been a bit mixed, torrential rain yesterday but on the whole warm with some bright spells.

Hope everyone is alright and enjoying the summer we are due back on Sunday

So glad you are having a good time on your travels and enjoying the forest of Dean; watch out for the wild boar they bite!!

£5 for 24 hours wifi, that is nearly the same as we paid for one night's pitch at one of the last campsites we stayed on. Nice to hear from you though.

Enjoy your camping in the Forest. You're quite close to me in Ross-on-Wye so if you head this way and see a Kangoo on the road, then please wave because it will be me!!

Hi Viv

Not seen any boars (wild or otherwise) but we were warned not leave any food out and tents aren't allowed in the Woodlands Campsite or people sleeping in awnings!

£5 is a bit steep but we had to have our internet fix.

Karen - We are very close to you and we will look out for your little Kangoo, if you see a Dimension waving frantically it will be us.

Don't be too sure - we live just up the road from you, outside Hereford, so if you see a Dimension, it may be us ;D
