Well, we've taken the plunge and bought another wifi session 24 hours for £6 this time, its been chucking it down with rain here all day yesterday so we thought it money well spent not only to get my internet fix but also so Pauline can maintain her website empire ;D. We popped into Ant at Avon Motorcaravans on Friday and he spent an hour an a half looking at our electric window which seems to have stopped working only to find that we need a complete new mechanism as you can't mend it, so he phoned his Citroen supplier and the cost was a wapping £270 plus vat! But Ant bless him came up trumps and went on his computer to find another source and came up with one for £80 quite a saving. We are popping back on Monday and hopefully it will have arrived and he will be able to fit it for us. Well done Ant fantastic service. We've had a good week touring south Wales and then to Forest of Dean, finally Devizes, mainly warm but with heavy showers in between. Good to see we have some new members we will be sending a personal welcome message to you all when we get back and our email is working properly. Cheers for now Graham and Pauline

Bet you needed to sit down and have drink when you had that news Graham. As you say well done Ant that is a huge saving isn't it. You sound like you have both been having a lovely time despite the weather. Our 'little baby' has to go in for it's first MOT tomorrow. Hope we don't have any shocks like you do. Have a safe journey home.

Hi Moya
Yes it was a bit of a shock, even Ant was shocked at the price.
Hope your "little baby" gets through OK, its always a worry when MoT comes round its such an unknown quantity so you can't budget for it.
Best of luck.
Graham

Sounds like you're having fun in spite of the weather, Grahm and Pauleen! Great news about that window mechanism, I hope Ant will be able to fix it when you go back.
Moya good luck with the MOT - I had my first not long ago and it passed without any cautionary notes or anything - and 21 years old at that! I hope you have the same luck! ;D

So glad you had a good time touring around despite the unsettled weather.
Rotten isn't it when vehicles go wrong when you are away, but you made a good saving. Our indicators packed up when we were away and we had to have the whole unit replaced at a cost of £250. At least you had Ant to advise, we had to manage with an unknown garage/showroom. OUch!!

Yes Roamingsue and I have been having a bit of a chat via private message and she saw Pauline and me at Devizes but we were eating in the van and she didn't want to disturb us. It is indeed a small world.
Hope you get a van soon Roamingsue and maybe you'd like to join us on our next meet when we get round to organising one and we can say hello properly.
