I noticed that some people are heading to France in September. Where are you all going? We will be crossing from Dover early September and heading for the Loire, the Dordogne, Spanish Pyrenees and then Picos de Europa - stopping in each area for some cycling and/or walking. We will return from Bilbao to Portsmouth about 4 weeks later. Our plans are fairly flexible and we have booked nothing except the ferries.

Wendy
We've booked to go 17th September - return 15th October. We are going via Dover (£65.00 return ferry charge). It's bit of a haul from Hereford to Dover but the crossings are so cheap we thought we'd give it a try and then head down towards Grenoble. Last year we went to Brittany but we thought we'd do lakes and mountains rather than sea this year.
No fime plans - just plan to emander and stop were we fancy.

Stop it you lot, you're making me jealous ;D
That's the trouble with going early in the year, ours is over and done with while most people still have theirs to look forward to.
Happy camping folk, have a great time.

We will probably be into the Spanish part of our trip by the time that you come over, Doug.
