Lets start with the bad news, we've had to postpone our trip around scotland in october we have had to cancel our leave at work. The good news is we've done this so we can have 4 weeks off in december for our honeymoon!! ;D A few people on here may know we got engaged in january this year, Claire was daft enough to ask me and I couldn't say yes quick enough!! We have been saying we wanted to be married by the end of the year, but our trips in Dolly meant we hadn't got round to planning anything. Well, the other day, we got ourselves into gear and got it sorted. December the 5th is our big day so we've got less than 15 weeks to get everything arranged! If any of you fancy coming along to our reception, you'll be more than welcome, PM me and i'll give you the details. I'm sure we can arrange EHU if you want to bring your vans!

Hiya Glen and Claire
Fantastic news, congratulations, would I be right in saying it will be in Sheffield? If so we may possibly be able to make it in the car for the day and will PM you for details.

Oooooo our first forum wedding! Perhaps I should do a 'Cilla' and buy a hat ;D Is Mollie going to be a bridesmaid? or should that be a brides-pup?

Oh bother, I've just consulted a calendar and 5th December is on Friday that means we won't be able to make it as we are working. Never mind, we will raise a glass of blackcurrant squash (the children's favourite) to you while we are no doubt doing sticky pictures etc., with our little ones. Graham

Thank you all for your lovely messages, they mean a lot!!! Yamaha - 'wherebeto' ? I'm guessing thats a local saying!! I guess its 'where be to?' as in where are you going??? If so and asked in relation to our honeymoon, We have absolutely no idea yet!!!! ;D ( that was a long complicated way to get nowhere wasn't it!!) jayjay - we look forward to hearing from you Lunnie - yes Graham is right, we are in Sheffield and our reception would be in the city centre. We are getting married in the Botanical Gardens, www.sbg.org.uk the ceremony takes place in the centre pavilion and then we are having a meal on a boat on the canal with our close friends and family before the big knees up that night. Pauline - We wouldn't trust Mollie to be a brides-pup!!! She'd be off chasing squirrels around the botanical gardens!!! Graham - Yes it is a Friday I'm afraid, all Saturday seem to be booked up forever. If you do fancy a drive up in the evening, you would be more than welcome, the do is in the city centre so not too difficult to find. But it is appreciated you having a drink of blackcurrant squash and thinking of us, I might join you in a drink, but possibly something a little stronger!! ;D

Congratulations to you both. The gardens look like a lovely place to get married. I think we will have to have a virtual forum wedding on the 5th so we can celebrate with you.

Congratulations to you both Glen & Claire. I am sure you will be very happy and Sheffield for your venue with a trip on the canal, just perfect. Maybe see you sometime in the future. We are changing our Roma for a newer model in the next few weeks and will be hitting the road asap. We will raise a glass to you on your special day. Have fun. Penny & Derek
