Hi - just a quick note to let you know I'm moving house this Friday 29th! It was supposed to be Saturday, but the chap doing the removals couldn't fit me in then, so it's the day before now! ARGGHHH! Actually, I've packed up and moved a lot of stuff in little Daisy, bless her (with the help of lots of friends!). I took the cushions out and just ferried the van back and forth with all my 'stuff' so all that's left is the furniture. Now I have to find someone to re-flat pack a pine bed! LOL! That should be fun. Haven't a clue when I'll be back on-line.. all complicated stuff with these MAC codes, which apparently will take 3 weeks from my present supplier before BT can connect at the other end, so it might be a whiley before I'm back on-line! Speak to you all soon, Jacki ;D

Hi Jacki They say that moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do in your lifetime, we have done it once and that was enough, Pauline was heavily pregnant at the time (never again). Well she'll certainly never be heavily pregnant again ;D Glad Daisy is coming in handy, yet another use for a Romahome - furniture van. Best of luck with the move, hope it all goes smoothly, when its all done at the end of the moving day, you will be able to sit down on a cardboard box and pour yourself a nice glass of wine and relax. . Assuming you can find the corkscrew that is. Graham

That should be up in the front of Daisy!!! ( corkscrew I mean)
I wish you well for Friday and hope that you will be very happy and settled in your new home, and your health will improve because of no more damp.
All the Best - Joan

Good luck for your move tomorrow Jacki. Once you are in hopefully your stress levels will drop a little. You can sort things then in your own time. As Graham says make sure you have got your bottle of plonk and a corkscrew at the ready. We used our van a couple of weeks ago to help my daughter move. They certainly do have lots of uses don't they. Best wishes
