There is a review/test report in the latest (Sept) Caravan Club magazine of the R40. Gets a good report overall.

My impression was that they were a bit sniffy about some aspects. (Door mirrors, no safety barrier for the overcab bed, over fussy control panel etc)
The more I read the reviews in different mags, the more convinced I become that Romahome have tried to put too much into the space available.
We are probably going to look into the Shepton Mallet show, we may see one there, in the flesh, to form a proper judgement.

We looked round the R40 at the New Forest Show.
I liked the double power point in the kitchen area, (they still haven't put one by the cooker in the Duo).
The GRP internal panels I like, they clean up nicely.
The panels inside the shower seemed bendy compared with the Dimension, OK though.
The layout was kind of familiar having had a Duo so I liked it but the individual tables each side may put some folks off. I think that most of the time one side is going to be left as a settee.
I didn't like the long rear overhang and lack of ground clearance (not keen on that in the Duo either), Having said that, I never grounded the Duo, perhaps because I was aware of it and very careful.
On balance we prefer the new Dimension but it is horses for courses.
