Met a couple

Hi,

Just returned from camping at Haven Caravan and camping site at Blue Dolphin, Filey, and saw another Romahome close by, and went to say hello, and boy the interior of their van was out of interior homes It was gorgeous, and the pelmet was totally empty!
It had been refurbished, the ceiling and walls plus the cupboard framework, had a charcoal covering and the pelmets, seats and curtains all in a tasteful black and white design.

The couple are from Wakefield, the lady's name is Pauline, dont know her husband's name.

Told Pauline about this forum and gave her one of Martinw's window discs. so hopefully they will log on and join.

The only van I have seen with different covers was the one belonging to your friends who came to Devizes. I loved that as it looked like a traditional Gypsy caravan with little floral prints.

I would love to have different covers and curtains and every time we come back I look at fabrics to cover the seats with. I never get round to it though and loose covers prevail!!!

It wasnt just the covers that were changed it was the total areas of the van, they had replaced the roof, walls, even the gbs around the cupboards doors were covered in charcoal colour carpet or similar, looked very smart. Pauline couldnt understand why they had originaly been covered in the light beige, said it was to make the place look roomy I thought, it was very cosy, and so co-ordinated, but not ONE thing in view!!!! nothing in the pelmets, me I have everything up there! all filed of course, but I do like things on hand, and not having to lift and rummage to find.

I do hope that they come on to this forum and hope that they place photos, think their sons's maybe done the same.

Think their user name should be Smart&Tidy or Smart&Posh!! sorry done this in quick reply, but imagine, funny emotions at the end of that pls.
