Hi Ant How do I remove the plugs that hold the panels on the rear & side door Romahome cut the plastic trim short & it@s pulling out from the edges of the panel they only left about 1/4" & all I will be able too door is try to stretch it back & tape it.
Also I noticed in a carpark in Farnham what appeared to be a Relay conversion Y reg 2.5 Hdi but it was called a Jumper looking in the window it seemed too be 2 seater the O/S had a bench seat sink & oven N/S the rear doors had the windows removed 2 vents in the N/S reardoor which looked as if it could be the fridge & the toilet on the O/S the upholstery also had Jumper woven ito the fabric + a Freeborn sticker on the back the tax was only £99 but not sure if it was 6Mnth. it was in very good condition have you come across the type before.
Regards Pete

We've got exactly the same problem Pete, I think it is another case of Romahome 'spoiling the 'ship' for a ha'porth of tar'! If only they had left the overlap a bit longer we wouldn't have this problem. As far as I know the clips holding the panels to the van just pop off if you lever them up, but I would wait for any Ant to confirm that.

Thanks Pauline It's a pity they trimmed it short but I expected by doing it on all the vans they convert they get enough trim for a extra one. Cheers Pete

Hi Pete. The trim panel on the rear just pop off, well if you're lucky they just pop off, you need to be careful not to force the heads off the the fittings as they're not very strong. I use a home made bit of wood thats cut with a forked groove to slide under the panel and go either side of the popper fitting, then just lever it off. I don't advise trying to lever the fitting directly as they tend to break. Good luck. Ant

Regards Pete Hi Pete, I dunno what the camper conversion was, but I'm pretty sure that Citroen branded the Relay van as "Jumper" elsewhere in Europe.

The conversion could have been a Tandy sports bus and the Jumper is indeed another name for the Relay in Europe.
