Hi Ant, Just out of interest is the jack supplied with our Duo hylo safe enough to use to change a tyre especially when the van is fully loaded. I am only asking as we had a puncture and I made OH get the RAC out to change it, even though we had managed to pull into a large layby. The RAC chap used a trolley jack. My argument with OH is that's what we pay our membership for.

Hi Moya. Quite right too, you're not supposed to be roughing it when using your Romahome and if you've got the time to wait, ( just put the kettle on), and you pay for RAC or AA roadside assistance why not use it, after all you're keeping the nice man in a job too! Having said all that, if you find the need to change your own wheel in a layby somewhere you can use the vehicle jack providing you place it where the indented triangle marks are on the sills and you chock the diagonally opposite wheel to the one you're changing, Oh and take the kettle off the hob before you start jacking! Ant

Thanks for that Ant. Yes we did just that - had a lovely cup of coffee while we waited, only 20mins, and had a lovely chat with the very nice man after he had changed the wheel. Don't think he was in any rush.
