Hi Robin

We generally try to meet up as Lunnie says but it tends to be a case of if someone is going somewhere camping and they fancy a bit of company they put a post on to see if anyone wants to join them.

Our last meet was in the Lake District, Tim and Kris were on holiday there and invited folk to come for a weekend, as things turned out only Pauline, me and Lunnie went but it was a good weekend.

I know its very short notice but Derek & Penny will be at the Cerne Abbas, giants head, campsite at the weekend and for a few days after if anyone wants to meet up. We havent booked up yet but will do in the morning. The campsite is on a hill above the cerne abbas giant. Handy for anyone wanting to try out the old fertility legend or fatality, depending on your partners sense of humour ;D The site is on the road to Buckland Newton. phone number 01300 341242.Prices are between £7-£10 per night. Awning extra, dog a £1 extra? (Have to sneak Barney in then )Let me know if anyone can make it. We have family in the area so will have company anyway but it would be nice to see some Roma's

Pendel, Hope you have a good time, would have gone down but have daughter staying this weekend. I hope the weather gets a bit warmer for you. Mind you our little vans are lovely and snug aren't they!

We have been trying to contact the campsite at Cerne Abbas but no luck so far so, we are heading off on a wing and a prayer, like you do, and hope that it is actually open when we get there. If not, I am sure we will find somewhere to rest our weary heads. Speak to you all next week.
