Hi Ant

think this is the part thats not working electronic control unit there is no power passing through it, any idea if this part can be bought, if it is this part what has gone, why has it gone, the unit is only 5 years old, and i have only had the van 15 months.

Hi Dancer.
The ECU unit is available as a spare part ( quite expensive at around £300), they sometimes lock out and depending on what makes them lock out can be unlocked with the diagnostic machine. Sadly the most common cause of lock out is 3 or more attempts to light it with low battery voltage- this type of lock out cannot be unlocked!

Hi Ant
A diagnostic check is around £45, and they will may only find out what i found out, and if it is the ECU i wont be paying £300 they sell the complete unit on ebay for between £3/400 so i think i will take it out and use the extra locker space.
