Hi all just got back from a week in Devon weathet good site good. Fully serviced HS £61.95 less £14 over 50's discount which made it cheaper than the C&C Club site that was almost next door the showers etc. were spotless the downside was the narrow lanes everytime you went out. We went into Plymouth a couple of times details of P & R further on. That hot W/E in Sept had a 3 nights at a site in Wareham forest good site fully serviced HS + TV hookup £53.25 without the hookup TV seemed US. its between Wareham & Bere Regis no buses. The Other good site is at Plymouth they do special deals for over 50's couldn't get in this year it's abit dearer than Moorview.10 mins. from P & R Too get to the P & R from Moorview site I found it best too go L to Modbury A379 to Plymstock R to Plympton Left to City Centre at RB take the 3rd turning not the one for P & R this may say trading estates oneway turn R where you see camping sign we parked under the trees & walked too the P & R the entrance is over the old railwaybridge on the bend £1.60 into the centre free if you have a pass, every 10mins. about a 30 min. trip www.riversidecaravanpark.com Plymouth www.birchwoodtouristpark.co.uk Wareham www.moorviewtouringpark.co.uk Modbury Adults only Pete

Thanks for that Pete, its good you got special deals for over 50's, at the C & CC sites its reductions for over 55s for which only I qualify, at the sites you mentioned Pauline (who is a mere spring chicken at 52 ;D) would also get a discount.
