A big hello

Hi, its nice to find people who have the same interest in Romahomes as myself and my partner have. We rescued a shell of a 1987 mark II Vanden Plas and what a state it was in, we have spent the last 6 months searching for spare parts for the shell and we nearly have it finished, it has been a labour of love for myself particularly as I have done all of the inside myself and we have been for a few weekends in it. The only thing I don't like about it is it sways about in strong winds. We need a few things to finish it, a nearside bumper, a door seal and windows, although the windows will do us till we can find new ones, the other things are a bit more urgent. We also have found an awning for it and we can't wait till the spring comes. Cheers Prue.

I've replied to your other post with a couple of links you might find helpful. There are lots of folk on here with Romahomes of varying sorts so you are in good company.

I know what you mean about the strong winds, its a bit scary being in a van, we've got a Dimension now and its still a bit scary but when we had our C15 we felt as if we were going to be blown off the road sometimes.
