This is a long-shot on a MH forum but does anyone know a pub in the area of Clifton that does a good Sunday lunch? I'm taking my student son out for a Sunday nosh and could do with a recommendation.

A few years ago I was sent to Bristol for my work, they booked me in to the Avon Gorge Hotel which overlooks the Clifton Suspension Bridge, there was a lovely restaurant with good food and a beautiful view overlooking the gorge.
As I say it was a few years ago now but might be worth a look.
Don't think my present boss will send me to such an expensive hotel, the best I'll get from Pauline is a night camping in the van. ;D

It was a pretty expensive hotel when I went but then I wasn't paying so didn't worry too much but not sure about now.
