But went on a Ladbrokes site in a static van for five days. Not bad, just got invited and thought I'd go along.
I wasn't impressed with the site, it was acres big and we were sited about a mile from all amenities... even worse for the real campers, they were sited right next to the main road, at the back, furthest away ever! Primrose Valley near Filey, Yorks, if you want to avoid it!!
The beach was a good two mile walk along the cliffs then down them, it was easier to drive into Filey itself. Had some good weather though, just gales yesterday, apart from that, nice sunny days and freezing nights.
On reflection, I would have been warmer in my little van, ooo and I did miss her! ;D
Ok if you have small children though, and are sited a bit nearer the amenities! ;D

Good to see you back on here JayJay we've missed you.
Static caravans are cold when the weather gets colder, I think its because there's a larger area to heat, as you say you're better off in a small van.
