Hi Ant, One of the fluorescent tubes in this unit has stopped working. I have had no success in gently trying to open the unit. Could you please give me some advice before I break it. Many thanks

Hi john. I normally unscrew the whole light fitting from the roof and then use a pen knife blade to ease the cover off , starting at one end and running the blade round the side, it comes away quite easily once its started. There are only a few plastic lugs holding the cover on but they tend to be too tight to the roof to get them to move in situ. Have a go! Ant

Thanks Ant for the detailed advice. I tried that way, before I posted, and gave up before I broke something. I'll try again now, and when I break it, I will have a good excuse ;D.
Can you tell me exactly which tube I will need?
Thanks again
