This might be one for Ant.
My wife and I have had our beloved 1995 C15 Hylo for almost a year and love it dearly. However, we continue to run two vehicles, the Hylo and a late 2002 Peugeot 307 Automatic saloon, mainly because we cannot carry more than two in the Hylo. However, this is looking a bit silly, because we rarely carry more than two people, and keeping a car for those occasions is quite an expensive luxury. What we would really like to do is sell the Hylo and the Peugeot at the same time and buy perhaps a Berlingo based Duo Hylo with the Pullman seating arrangement. The question is: What is the best way to pursue such a deal? Options seem to be various, e.g. private sale of both vehicles and purchase of secondhand Duo, or part-exchange both, or some combination. Any thoughts?

Hi Mike A friend of mine has recently traded in a motorhome and a 4X4 for a new Trigano Tribute at Freeborn Motorhomes. I think they like to see a bundle of cash as part of the deal Derek

Hi Rev Mike. I'll certainly take your Hylo and car in PX against a Duo hylo, you'll probably get more for the pair by selling privately if you can be bothered by all the tyre kickers that will produce! I know I have an axe to grind but I'd advise buying from a dealer when spending quite alot of money as you will have somewhere to go with any problems. Have a look on my website www.avonmotorcaravans.co.uk and click onto the "used Motorhomes" button see if anything whets your appetite! Ant

Thanks for the responses Ant and Derek. I have looked on your website Ant and there are one or two of interest. My eldest daughter lives in Bristol and we may be heading that way soon. If we do I'll try and head into your place for a visit.
Cheers!
