What do you do when you leave a site in your Romahome and you don't want to lose your pitch ? At the moment, I leave behind my step and a plastic bowl ie low value losses. I've seen a few reservation signs that people have made but possessing neither the motivation nor the interest to do so for my own Romahome, I am wondering if anyone has found a source ? I saw one at the Roma Club AGM (I know, wash my mouth out) where a creative type had cut out a shape of a Romahome, on a stake, and then overlaid the registration number. It looked good. Something similar would be great ! (I can cope with putting my own number on .

I think that you can buy them from Caravan Club sites and probably from their website. We got a freebie from MMM - don't know how often they do that. It has our registration no. on it and just cost us the postage. Worth checking the newsagents shelves as it's bound to be advertised on the front of the mag.

We got ours from the Caravan Club I can't remember how much it was, we have attached it to our step and it says "Motorhome using this pitch".

I saw one at the Roma Club AGM (I know, wash my mouth out) No need to wash your mouth out, Graham and I are members of the Roma Club too, although we don't get to the meetings. I believe there are some other members on here too. The love of small motor homes is our common interest.

There's one on ebay at the moment - £5.99 plus £1.99 It looks pretty substantial. Some of the free ones are rather small. See tinyurl.com/2hfxkk

The previous owner of our romahome left us a wee gift of a home made pitch reservation sign. Its basically the registration number on a laminated sheet of paper nailed to a wooden stake. Haven't used it yet but I suppose it would do the trick if you don't want to spend money on one.

Thanks, everyone. I've ordered one from eBay - thank you, Mike & Heather. It's a good start and I'll see how it works for me. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on MMM etc.

I am now the proud possessor of a sign with my registration number on from Mike & Heather's suggested web site. I'm not 100% sure how I am going to display it but am testing by using two x garden tickets to support it ..... To be trialled next week ! Thanks for your help.
