Congratulations to Pauline and Graham, and all others concerned. Since last October I have spent literally hours on this fantastic site. So friendly and informative. I retired 6 years ago, and returned to tent camping. My wife prefers to continue working (bless her) and is actually not a keen camper. Nor is Aggie a cyclist, which is my other pastime. Perhaps I should have used 'rognbike' as my username. Anyway I decided I was getting too old for scrambling around in a tent, and have therefore acquired an 8 year old C15 Hylo. I am in the process of a refurb and personalising it to suit my own purposes. Meanwhile I have had 3 camping trips, in November and this month, and look forward to many more and to meeting many of you soon.

Hello aggsnrog Thanks for the kind words about the website its really nice when we get feedback. When we saw you had joined we were trying to work out your username we thought it was an anagram of something, I even put it into google to see if it meant anything. ;D Now the mystery is solved Aggie and Roger I presume. A big welcome to the forum and if you fancy meeting up a few of us are having a meet at the beginning of May, which Kiwidave is kindly organising, you would be made most welcome. See the threads HEREGraham

I tried to convince Graham that you must be Welsh and had the Welsh translations on to see if your username meant anything!! Nosey aren't we?!! ;D Anyway, great to have you here, thank you for the kind comments and hope to meet you very soon

Notts? 2 of my trips were to Teversal. Our eldest is at Uni in Nottingham and I took her back after Xmas and stayed on. I am C&CC by nature, and on my own will use Club sites for the amenities and security. Am willing to branch out however! ... Roger

Hi Aggsnrog, Firstly can I add my voice too say welcome along to the forum, Graham and Pauline run a fantastic site and everyone here has been very helpful and friendly since I have been a member. As Graham mentioned, we are having a Newbie Meet in May which is shaping up to be a great gathering, at last count we have 13 units attending and there is going to be a couple of birthdays the same weekend so cake and wine is on the menu ( along with one cow story from Graham which has been getting more fantastic in my imagination over the past few weeks ;D ) If you are not up to anything on the weekend of the 8th 9th of May and fancy a great weekend away, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will give you all the details. Once again welcome to the forum, and happy camping. Cheers mate Dave

Oh the possibilities that this little bit of information has just created - a mad dash for safety in the river - a stranded cow and a rescue attempt that went tragically wrong - a flash flood with a herd of cows The mind boggles with possibilities Dave

Thanks Ellie. I had a few days in East Yorkshire last year and the year before. That was with the tent. Now I'll be the one in the Hylo with a bike inside. (I've fixed a rack on one of the bench seats.) I hope the weather lives up to your name if I am there this year! ... Roger
