I can sympathise. We had a similar experience in Sussex a few years ago. A dozen or so had calved, and others were about to. They didn't actually charge us. Swaggering towards us was enough to make us realise we were unwise to be in the maternity field! Not a problem without the calving, although I avoid being too close behind them for a couple of reasons... Roger

Hi Graham, Now I understand the "Cow" phobia, I still think we could jazz it up a little and put a flash flood or maybe a little foam at the mouth in it ( just for the added suspense ) I will try to make sure there are no cows on this meet, however, if we do stumble across a mad herd, I'll race you to the nearest fence...
