Hi Ant
I went to use the hob in our Outlook today and the Piezzo ignition appears to have died.
Have you any suggestions please

Hi Peter. When did you last use it and does the fridge ignition work? If the fridge is ok then you have power to it and if it was a while since you last used it it may need holding down for quite a while to charge it up again. I have an aerosol spray can lid full of screws that i rest on the switch while I get on with something else, it can take half an hour or more to get some of them to go again but they all go in the end! Have eventually discovered the reason for a variety of electrical problems. There is an in line fuse in the feed from the vehicle battery to the fuse box under the seat. On ours it is mounted on the outside of the vehicles engine bay fuse box above the battery. It has obviously suffered from corrosion (a result of the battery venting when charging?). I have replaced the fuse holder and fuse but have rerouted the wire so that the fuse holder is now mounted inside the engine bay fuse box. The fuse holder is a heavy duty type from the local boat chandlers on the canal in our village.
Is this a common fault An?
