Our 1st week away this year in April is to Norman's Bay C&CC. in east sussex. Not a site I have used before.We will have a couple of weekends away before then in the local area maybe try out the new conkers site as they now have a new shower block.

Hi Robin
We went to Conkers a couple of weeks ago just for a weekend and its quite a nice site with some good walks direct from the site, it is quite new and very open so it can get quite windy, it'll be better when the trees have established themselves.
A fairly decent pub within walking distance serving the usual pub meals.

Thanks. We had a nice weekend at The Trotting Mare.
Gary the Landlord/Site Owner has almost finished the alterations now and rushed to get it open for us - so it was drinks in the pub on Friday night and a meal on Saturday for 18 of us!
It's a shame the log fire has gone though.
