Does anyone know which Heki rooflight is used in Outlooks. Is it the Heki 3 Plus and if so is it the unventilated model? I have noted concerns re draughts and a tendency to open in transit if they are not the spec. required for campervans.

Have just confirmed with the ' fount of all knowledge ' - guess who! - that the Heki in the Outlook is def an unventilated 3. This is good news as some Heki sites have suggested this is the best for motorhomes. The ' normal ' rooflight provides ventilation to cover gas safety I presume. Sometimes the more sites I look at on the web the more confused I become. Having decided to stki I should be the proud owner of a new R20 in March via Ant. I have to commend him and also Pam on their patience in coping with my indecision and now questions to make sure I have made the right decision! Exciting but scary times!

We have an Outlook Exclusive and it has a non-ventilated Heki 3 and it makes no noise. One advantage is that I can stand up in that part of the van as long as the blinds on it are open and I am almost 6ft tall. We have changed the rooflight at the back to a mini Heki

Well done Lizzie, if you are getting it from Ant rest assured the after sales care will be second to none. Ant will do his best to help anyone with a Romahome, imagine what he's like if you've actually bought one off him! Bet you can't wait to get camping, roll on March eh? Graham

Thank you for the feedback. I am certainly looking forward to March. My C15 has been a good friend and I shall be sad when it goes to another good home but the Outlook seems a real gem and perfect for me. As I am only 5'1" height should be OK! Can you tell me Peter what is the advantage of having a Mini Heki in the rear.

We regularly carry passengers in our Outlook (it has the pullman seats) and we found that the rear passenger was often cold because a draught came from the rooflight and so I replaced it with a non ventilated one - hence the mini heki. there are still a few draughts in the back but no where near as bad
