Ok, door lock, seat covers and table brackets sorted but.... I have a leaking side window on my 1989 C15 Romahome Hytop. I can't find out where the rain is coming in. It collects on the little inside ledge and dribbles down wetting the cushion. On dry days I've thrown water at the window to try detecting the leaking area but it only leaks when I'm not looking. I've checked the seal and it's not torn but I don't know what else to look for. Has anyone else had a similar problem? As always I'd appreciate some advice. Dorneyi

we had a very similar problem on our Roma demountable.the windows were fixed, none opening. 1 of the windows had been replaced and it leaked intermittently. After lots of searching I found a small, approx 1/4 cm tear in the seal, where whoever had fitted the window had been a little heavy handed. Water was sitting in the tear, and with a sorted of capillary action and with gravities help, it traveled around the seal until it found another tiny hole in the bottom of the window seal, where it then soaked the cushions!!
It only did it when there was plenty of rain, a shower or soaking with a hose didn't create the leak, it needed prolonged rain for enough water to sit in the tear.
my solution was to use captain Tolley's creeping crack cure, slowly letting it seep into the small gap between the window and the seal and then filling the tear with good quality, outdoor sealant. I'm not sure if it will be a permanent cure, but it was enough for the time we had the van!!! having read a few reviews about captain Tolley's CCC, it seems pretty good stuff, used on boats as well as cars etc. I bought some off the Internet, ebay I think, but it is available from Towsure and probably from other caravan spares, ship chandlers, auto spares. (halfords didn't have it!)
hope that may be of some help. Glen

Thanks Glen,I'll have a closer look for a break in the seal and try the remedy you mention. Irena
