I will be 2 nights each at C&CC sites Oxford, Devises, Cheddar and Chichester, from 25 Feb until 5 March. Give me a wave if you see me on the road, or join me for a day or two. That's Aggie above; she's staying at home. ....Roger.

Hi Roger Looks like something is tickling Aggie ;D, a fair weather camper eh? Won't be able to join you but have a nice time, we had a lovely meal at the pub next door to the campsite at Chichester a few years ago, not sure what its like now though. And don't forget the walk up the flight of locks at Devizes, we went there for a Small Motorhome Meet SEE HEREThere's a nice little tea shop at the top and by the time you get there you are ready for a cup of tea! Some nice pubs in Devizes selling real ale from the local brewery whose name escapes me at moment. Have fun Graham

We had a meal there in September and although not particularly cheap it was a great meal. Have a good time.

Hi Mike .... Where's the rv for the Bongo meet on 1 March? Or will it be impossible to miss a Bevvy of Bongo's at Wookey Hole? Hi Lizzie .... It's been positively Spring-like here today. Planning to celebrate by concreting a bit more of the front garden tomorrow. Less grass to cut (and parking space ). I shall expect a few crocuses or daffs by the time I arrive in the Mendips! Not to say sunshine . .... Roger ....Roger

Hi Roger - it's at the Wookey Hole Caves carpark - natural limestone neo-whatsit caves - worth a visit (I think) - only lived in the area 50 years, so it will be our first visit too !! Mike

Hi mike.... I was in the car park for a couple of hours and did the caves etc on the Sunday. I was impressed by all the Bongos. Didn't realise it is such a popular base vehicle. You must have been in the caves , or the pub !!! I came back through Wookey Hole on the way from Priddy to Chichester on the Tuesday, and was surprised to see 4 coaches of school children in the car park. The young lady in the shop said it was their busy time of the year for school trips! Incidentally, I was in the shop to buy a large Golly, now apparently very popular in the shop since the Carol Thatcher episode. The weather was nice enough for me to go for a bike ride from each of the 4 sites I visited, but I drove through snow over Hindhead and the Devil's Punchbowl on the A3 on the way home on Thursday. ....Roger

Hi Roger - so, we were spotted, then!! A good meeting - about 17 Bongo's made it - and as you know, the weather was great. Quite impressed with the caves - sometimes it pays to visit local attractions late - the guide said that some of the further caves were only opened up in I think the 80's. Bargain, too - we had a half-price offer ticket, and as OAP's it cost us £5 each!! Still a long walk, though - I don't do walking!! Mike
