What year did the demountable Honda / Bedford Rascal pickup Romahome change from the earlier shape to the newer more rounded shape ? I see many of the older shape Romahomes on Hondas as old as 1983 and I still see them on late 1980's pickups and often pickups in the 1990's, I am interested to know what year the newer model started.

Hi i have one of the newer honda acty romahomes it is 2000 reg and rounded,and i bought it thro a guy in bristol called Tony swann , who imports them i also had one of the older type, i have to say that 2000 reg one is outstanding, brilliant performance ,power steering, air conditioning ,air bags , but it has the old romahome on the back which is nice and clean but shows its age a little ,i have just fitted a catalystic therm x gas fire in it ,and about to attempt to install a gas water heater,only i sure dont know where to fit it and where i will put the flue lol any way best wishes Brian
