Hi
I've been looking at insurance online, and today by phone, and I'm confused. There's terms like micro motorhome, campervan and then motorhome. Where does a professionally converted van like a romahome fit in to this? Is it a campervan or a motorhome, or something else?
Cheers, yozz.

Hi Yozz
I think that the term motor caravan is the legal definition for all self propelled camping vehicles. All the other names are whatever folks want them to mean.

I undestood, that a Motorhome was laid out like a caravan (spacious) it is a MH Romahome are campervan/mircro van.
For Insurance I always say, it is micro that a people carrier is longer and higher, this helps to place a picture in the insurers mind.
Iuse Caravan Wise not the cheapest, BUT when my van was stolen, they were absolutely brilliant, and paid up no problem. so for my peace of mind I will pay the extra.
