Hello, Dancers both - Graham says you are going to the Roma Club AGM. Do you by any chance play bridge ? I wondered if you might be up for a game ? I've only been learning a year or so and very green but willing to expose myself to ridicule ! Failing that, it would be good to mutually introduce ourselves. I haven't put a photo of Freda up just yet - perhaps I should do that. She's a Duo HyLo, KY03 OCR, named after "freedom and air". Take care and see you there.  |

Hi, I see that you think the same as myself, I too have a 'Freda' and her name is for Freedom. I now have Freda 2

Hi Joan - yes, I think I noticed something about this in the newsletter. My grandsons asked me the questions: if you have another Romahome will you call that Freda 2 ? Sounds as though they've been watching too many American films but I did think the connection was good. Now I've been beaten to it - Carole ;D

Yes we will be at the roma club AGM. Sorry we are not bridge players, can you learn us both in a few days, got a feeling it may take a little longer, we will be arriving early friday morning we will look out for you, we are in a duo outlook YJ53 NYV. will be a great event, had a great time last year at stourport on seven, plus it was a lot closer as well, looking forward to it cambridge is one a the very few places we have never been.

Hi, Steve & Denise - I will keep a look out for you too. I don't suppose I will get there until Friday midday earliest. I wasn't able to get to Stourport last year but did go to Camberton the previous year which I really enjoyed. It was my first ever "Meet" of any sort. This time I am more prepared and intend to spend more time finding out about the broader environment.
Teach bridge in two days ? Dream on !!! I've been playing 15 months and I'm still very very green. Went to my first ever club sessions last night and made a total idiot of myself.
Look forward to seeing you next month.
