I've a new Romahome Hytop and I'm very excited. My old one died and couldn't be revived. Realising I couldn't live without a van I got some finance and bought a 2002 C15 D with palm trees! It's in good condition and has no rust. I want to keep it that way so I'm going to take care of it. The black and grey trims are intact but need polishing up a bit but I don't know what to use. Can anyone advise me on that? Also my old van had a lot of crazing in the glaze of the fibreglass body. Is that an age thing and how do I prevent it in my new van? Did anyone else feel as though they were being disloyal when they had to get rid of an old van? I shed tears! Dorneyi

Hi Dorneyi, con grats on the relacement C15 Roma. It is sad when you have to give up on an old friend (roma) and as we have a 89 c15 hytop we know rust is the main problem. Personally if I had just invested in a rust free c15 I would have it professionally WAXOYLED. This helps to kill any rust present and helps to prevent it returning. There are a lot of companies out there but some do no more than give it a pressure wash let it dry and spray waxoyl around, this won't be of much good. A very respected firm are before-n-after.co.uk check out their web and remember it might seem alot but you know what happened to your old c15 and this is the only real way of stopping it happening to your new friend. Cheers Peter
