We had a great St Georges weekend in Nottingham, we went on a DA meeting, 60+ units a great turnout. we stayed at Holme pierrepont on the national water sports centre, what a great place, plenty of walking and cycling, not to mention the varity of water sports, and also a good campsite, electric hook up, showers, toilets, shop, something were not use to on DA meetings, five minute walk to the bus stop, ten minutes by bus to the centre of nottingham, fantastic shopping, really impressed with nottingham we never get fed with the varity of things to do, and what a great weekend sunshine all week. It got me thinking this would be a great place for a get together, something to think about for future meet perhaps. Is this is in your neck of the woods Graham? no wonder you wanted to keep it a secret. Steve

Is this is in your neck of the woods Graham? no wonder you wanted to keep it a secret. It certainly is, I was born and brought up just across the river from there on Meadow Lane within spitting distance of the home of Notts County and on Saturday I was witnessing another dismal performance with a 0-3 loss. Yes Nottingham is a great place with lots to do and see, we've been to the Holme Pierrepont campsite a few years ago and whilst its in lovely surroundings we weren't very impressed with the campsite itself but as I say it was a few years ago when we had a caravan it sounds like its improved since then, we'll have to give it another go.
