hi everyone, i have just bought a bedford rascal romahome which is not in very good condition, does anyone know where i can get a copy of a manual. i have a long list of things that need sorting out, such as, the electric hook up at the moment just goes straight to some socket extension leads with no consumer box at all. there are no stabilisers at the back, making it very bouncy. not sure where the gas bottle is supposed to go, looks like it has been under the grill but am wanting a fridge to go there. i could go on but i wont. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks rob

Back to work, Graham - you're not retired yet!! Mike Nice work if you can get it! He's spent the day at the railway centre, seeing Thomas the Tank Engine and friends, then a trip around the Farm park petting rabbits and goats. The things you have to suffer to keep kids occupied

Hi, I just got a small spare stabiliser leg for mine from an online breakers, I think in Lancs. They didn't have two, but one is ok for now for mine as one leg is ok, just a bit of a kink in it. The other is totally wrecked. It's being sent by courier at £10 and the leg & bits cost a tenner, so £20 altogether. I reached them through www.caravanbreakers nationwide. co uk Tel: 0871 288 4290 and ask for Tony or Alan best to email on caravanrecovery@hotmail.co.uk with your requirements. They need to know the length of leg required (for mine this was 19-20") and the rough distance apart between the bolts (approx 6"). Look underneath to see if you still have the metal bits that the legs bolts onto and the windy bits (sorry girly tech talk here!). You will also need a winder to wind them up and down if you haven't got one of those either. You could always try your local scrap yard. Mine hadn't any in that were small enough. You need some from the very small caravans. Hope that helps, JayJay

Re some of your Q's, Boyabout town - would it help if I took pictures of the way mine is set up for you? I could email them, then you'd have an idea of how it's supposed to go. I have the original owners manual to the cab with interesting things like how to get the seats out to check oil, water and tyre pressures and other interesting stuff. I could copy this for you if your in need, just let me know!
