Hi As some of you will know by now, I'm going for a new conversion for my 'new' van and currently looking around for wood and fabric combinations. With the greatest respect to the more conservative members of the board, the typical interior design choices are not at all to my taste. If I'm going for custom design then I want something that reflects me. The vehicle is silver and I've found a place that sells silver boards for the cupboards but I'm struggling to find something 'funky' for the upholstery. Purple is my favourite colour so it would ideally feature strongly if not exclusively. Can anybody suggest suppliers of fabric suitable for motorhomes? Do I need to ask for anything specific? I assume it needs to be flame retardant? I was already directed to the website of a place in Whitby, but, to be honest, the designs were exclusively the typical 'dated' and conservative designs that I'm trying to avoid! Does anybody have any suggestions for somewhere with something more 'funky' Jane

Hi Jane sometimes you can find upholstery fabric on e bay and if the seller is a shop they may have fabric you can buy not just what they list on e bay - this was how we covered a sofa some years ago barbara

I have used www.profabrics.co.uk/ (Point North) for materials in the past, although they might not sell exactly funky as you require. Good for camping etc generally though. .... Roger.
