Sat. Works

Just to let you know that the sat dish works OK and quite easy to set up on site once you have set up the elevation at home which can be a bit tricky, once the elevation is set up tho it is usually good enough all over the country.

The only thing that isn't working is the weather, its c**p

your unit is looking good and see that you have a new ut.tent!! at least that design the roof does not puddle in heavy rain!!

İs that a portable Sat dish? İ brought one from Lıdl it is up in my garden at the moment but not fully connected. Need to sort out my tv and things far too many cables and gadjets!!!

Just need something simple and easy. ( no dont you dare say - just like me!)

Hope you are having a good time as İ am here in Turunç which is very hot and sunny. Back on the boat again tomorrow. That is my treat every time it goes out İ am on it. İ am now the official water temperature tester!!! as İ am the only one to go into the water first in every bay. And İ can tell you it has felt that İ have been swimming through iced water!! but it is warming up nicely now. Swimming is the only area İ am not a wimp.

Hi Joan, yes it is portable, it all collapses up, except the dish,
it is a lot bigger than I expected, but it is very sturdy and being staked down well it hasn't moved at all in the strond winds we have been having.
The tent is much better than the other one, but I cant, at the moment, hang anything up inside, will try to fix that.
The only water to test here is that comming from the clouds.
Glad you are having a good time, I am, when I'm in the camper I always do.

The weather report on TV tonight said that the better weather that was supposed to be coming has been "delayed", what they really mean is that they don't know what is coming and just make a rough guesstimate

Hi Martin, love the dish! At wolverley you had a sawtooth type aerial ? - boys and their toys, eh?

At least with this weather you can get a good tv picture!

Was watching the weeks weather forecast on Countryfile yesterday and it's going to start improving Tuesday - Wednesday, esp. further south, staying rainy in the mids/north west for a while longer. The temps are going to go up as well during the week - thank goodness for that, eh?

Got to go home on Friday for three weeks, and then going to try the new CCC site at Dunbar, I'll probably miss all the good weather, but it shouldn't be too bad up there in June.
