This is a query about the high brake lights on a Duo -those above the rear door.Ours have started to go with several not working when the foot brake pedal is depressed. Are they a simple do it yourself job to replace.I managed to get the screws out of the light housing to have a look but there is not much electric cable spare and did not want to use brute force to get the LED array out from under the red plastic without a bit more knowledge.Any suggestions are welcome. Hi Sylvia. The LED brake light is an all in one unit, you can buy a complete replacement from various places (Halfords, Motorman, Romahome), the individual LEDs don't come out. It is a DIY job providing you've got some electrical terminals to put onto the new light unit. Ant

Ant,Now all fixed, many thanks. It took a lot of searching to find the replacement unit.Romahome found me one at a price. No one seems to make the exact unit anymore. We tried several different motor part shops. This will be a problem for Duo Hightop owners in future.Would be interested to see if anyone else has had problem and how solved. After much searching I have found this, www.hogi99.de/_py_ASPoeCK-Bremsleuchte-Leuchte-Aufbau-Laenge-273mm-12Volt-Kabel-1-0m-DC/a-22004144-0-0-0-0-0/which I am pretty sure contains the bit we need. It appears to be in a black plastic housing which of course would be thrown away. (They might of course be out of stock and discontinued!) A quarter of the led's on mine have died and it looks as though water ingress has caused it. Perhaps those who have one that works would be advised to make sure it's dry inside then apply silicon sealant along the back to keep the rain out. At the moment I am going to leave mine as it is - I imagine it would be a bit pricey when the p&p is added. ( the real reason is that I have a fear of doing anything involving money/credit card details etc on a foreign web site where my knowledge of the language is limited to O-level about 50 years ago! The main supplier(/manufacturer?) is: www.aspoeck.atand the part number is: 31-8919-007 I hope this is of some help Keith

Thanks to all info.Is it really water ingress that causes LEDs to fail or do they just wear out? Sylvia
