Hi all First I want too thank those who answered my query regarding Satnavs I finished up with a XL Tomtom which seems OK but the instructions tend to be rather annoying more so that the Navman that I had, the other thing is the info on the Northhumberland area which I will be going to in June.
Getting back too the subject in hand I seem to remember that in a past forum somebody had bought a portable Satellite kit from Lidl if so did it need the TV to have a scart socket or could it be connected too the RF socket. Cheers Pete

Pete - I have one, bought from Maplins - and, yes, you do need a Scart socket on the TV to use it, as is, from the box.
You can, however, get a device called an RF Modulator which accepts the satellite signal and converts it to an RF feed into the aerial socket.
