As my 'van has not got a proper Zig or Charging Unit, I was thinking about updating the electrics and getting something that is actually made for the job...
Could you recommend something I could go for?? or atleast point me in the right sort of direction?

Hi Jiffy.
I'd buy a simple battery charger that has an over load and over charge trip ( most have these days) and hard wire it to the 12volt system. You can spend about £150.00 on a fancy thing that does the same job as a £10 battery charger.
