Hi I have just got a very old Romahome D reg 1300 petrol engine. All seems well, some small bits of rust on cab but body and interior looks like new. I would like to tow my sailing dinghy and wondering if towbar can be fitted and if so how do you open the door. l would also like to fit battery charger- hard wired but charger states that battery must be disconected to prevent damage to alternator. Would I need to keep disconnecting batter or installing isolating switches
Many thanks Mick M

Hi Mick. It looks like this thread was started at at 2.30 am. worrying about your Romahome all night wont help, get some sleep! PWS nudge bars in poole make the tow bar for your C15 (01202 746851) just make sure the nose wt of your dinghy on its' trailer is no more than 45Kg, you can check this by putting the jocky wheel on the bathroom scales. As for the battery charging, all battery chargers say disconect the battery before charging, if you don't turn the ignition on and your alternator diode is not faulty you shouldn't need to worry about disconecting the battery. Hi Ant
Many thanks for info. Re nocturnal activites, I had just been on telephone to daughter who lives in NZ arranging our anual trip down under. Cant seem to find any Romahomes in NZ, so will have to make do with living rough again. Best wishes Mick M
