We haven't had a problem until yesterday when I needed to have about a dozen goes to light the fridge. It would light but as soon as I let go of the button it went out. Never had a problem before. 2007 Outlook using propane

Peter. Your problem is a very common one, if you pull the gas knob off its spindle and stuff some tissue into the hole that the spindle fits into, about half fill the hole, then refit the knob. The problem is caused by the gas knob fouling the upper trim of the fridge and not being able to be pushed in far enough to over ride the flame failure device and open the valve far enough to light the burner properly, by stuffing the knob you're effectively making the spindle go in further and hence working as it should.
