Hi everyone
Hope you are all well, we are back from our jollies in France. The weather was a bit mixed, the first week was wall to wall hot sunshine but the second week was a complete contrast feeling cool with heavy rain. We'll try and get some pics on soon.
The first week we spent in Southern Britanny at our favourite seaside site see HERE for review. We can recommend the campsite a really lovely place just a short walk to the beach.
From there we moved on to the Vendee to be a bit nearer our son and family who were coming to the Loire Valley where we would join them for the last few days of our hols. Unfortunately as they arrived in France the car broke down with an electrical problem so they were stranded in a hotel for 3 nights with our 9 month old Grandson, without a car or any luggage while the car was taken to a specialist Ford dealer 20 miles away. As luck would have it there was a lovely Aire just a short walk from there hotel so we stayed there for 3 nights to keep them company.
I somehow managed to trap a nerve in my neck during this time and have been suffering from headaches and dizziness ever since, so once our son's car was fixed we left them to it and we came home on an earlier ferry as I was feeling really rough. If anyone has got any home remedies please let me know, the doc says its just a matter of time, so here I am with a hot water bottle on my neck catching up with all that's been going on.
