Hi we have a romahome duo with a built in waste water tank. Do we need to empty the tank into an external water container when on site?If so which type of tank would you suggest? John

Most sites we stay at have drain points. You just drive over the drain, positioning your out feed tap over the drain, and open your tap. As simple as that !

Hi John If your on a site without a drainidge point then you will need a black waste water container which are quite big and bulky, we bought a smaller version of the same thing its actually for draining waste oil from your car, we got it from halfords its perfect. dancer

Hi John
Or you could use a collapsible cube for waste. We have used them for years and they take up little room, the ony thing you may need is a short pipe from the waste tap to make emptying easier.
Good luck

Hi John
We use a folding bucket. This takes up hardly any room, stores easily in the outside locker, and is very cheap. We just fill up the bucket using a short piece of hosepipe and empty it down the nearest drain. If the on-board tank is full, it will take a couple of trips.
As this is 'grey' water, I would avoid using any type of container which is normally used for drinking water or 'black' water, as this could cause confusion or misunderstanding.
