Hi Ant Whereabouts are you? We're in Brighton, and I went to try out the fridge for the first time in our Rascal Romhome, and the 3-way knob doesn't move. Someone's obviously had quite a go at shifting it as the plastic knob is cracked. I was going to look further myself, but the very first message I found on here about fridges was Haggis blowing himself up / melting his pod when lighting it. Hmm, one for an expert I thought to myself .... Marc

Hi Marc. I'm 1 mile south of Bristol Airport on the A38. The 3-way Knob you mention plays no part in the gas side of the fridge, you should be able to light the fridge with the knob in any position. The knob is there to stop you running the fridge on the mains and gas together. If you are going to light the fridge, and it seems to be taking an age to get going, do it in several goes, that way if you have a leak you've allowed the gas to escape between goes and you shouldn't have too much about to start the fire! Ant

Hi, Marc & Ant - I've been having the same problem so glad I spotted this dialogue. Thank you.
BTW: Dometic were less than helpful - they said my model, as read from the inside of the fridge, RM 42128, has never existed .....
